Go Vintage

My doctors' and dentists' surgeries are a treasuretrove every now and then. They sell used books for a  donation to our local hospice and today I found four fabulous books for £ 4.-. The two on the right will keep my son happy, the Philip Ardagh is funny and perfect for my daughter and the tome will do nicely for the gardening Auntie in our life. While some people find the idea of second hand slightly "icky", I don't see why perfectly good books should go to waste. The hardbacks don't look vintage at all, so even if Auntie should have reservations about that - she won't be able to tell, it is as good as new. In this Aunties' case she won't mind, she's a vintage kinda girl herself...
