Transparent

One of Sonjas'
Stars are not the only thing coloured transparent paper is good for. With a cardboard frame, shape punches and precise cutting the windows can be adorned in jewel colours. Layering the shapes creates new nuances. These look their best backlit of course but sunshine is sometimes hard to come by up North.
The method is fairly easy: The actual image is glued (a bit like a sandwich filling) between two layers of white  translucent paper and  then everything is glued behind the frame. Try and use "photosafe" gluesticks if possible, otherwise the colours start dissolving after a few years.
