Foxy Bookmarks

Some easy Origami Bookmarks as little gifts. They weigh almost nothing so are good to send by post internationally. I'll just slot them over the edge of the cards.

DIY plant irrigation

Take 2l Sodabottles, tap a hole into the lid with a nail and a hammer, fill, screw lid on tight and upend into the pot. Those tomatoes are thirsty!

Send your pics

I tried Touchnote, the app for android phones that prints postcards from the photographs on your smartphone and sends them worldwide. I haven't seen an example of them yet, but I tried the canvas option to see how the print would turn out and I think the quality is okay. This one will be a present.

Transfer No 1

Okay, it's not exactly new but it has been sitting around for long enough without me trying it out on something or other. And as Transfer No 2 went spectacularly wrong I turned it into "Punk Vampire Kitty" instead with this Stud Punch. 

His favourite present

was the one I made myself, because this is where we met.

It's been a while...

I have not been idle, the first pressies were wrapped in July this year and some of the homemade goodies are at the stage of going into "production". One of the Advent calendars will be a little different this time around: My daughter asked for a book a day, bought in charity shops so we can give twice...joy to her and a donation to several good causes. Fine with me! :))
There are some unexpected treasures to be found as the picture shows. 

Bookmarks

I printed out a suitable pic on Photopaper, cut it to size and glued it onto silver cardstock. Some ribbon will be attached to a hole punched at the top - done.

Holiday Chilling for the Holidays

Presents in the making...My trusty Magnet Photopaper and some pics of the Isle of Arran, 10 minutes and voila! A little bit of deep blue summer feeling for the middle of winter. These are DIN A 5 size.

It's been a while...

but the birthdays are approaching like every year (and very surprisingly, too!). What to give to the Gran who has everything? Something she can't drop off at the Church Sale...
I got myself some magnetic photo paper, suitable for all ink jet printers, and saved a collage of the grandchildren on the computer to print out. Now I just have to cut them out and wrap them and she can't complain about not having recent photographs any more if they are stuck to her fridge door...:))
